Patrick Assenheimer (#69 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "So far, everything is fine as far as we are concerned, except that the red flag unfortunately cost us some track time in the second session. I'm really looking forward to qualifying this weekend, because this will be my first time in the second group."
Hari Proczyk: (#42 HP Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "We're not satisfied so far. We haven't got an engineer with us this weekend, and we're having to try some things out with the car."
Florian Strauß (#23 MRS GT-Racing, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3): "There seems to be no end to our run of bad luck. I suddenly experienced a loss of power, and then flames started shooting out of the car. We're still looking for the cause, but we're unable to compete this weekend. I hope that we've now used up all our bad luck for the rest of the season."
Daniel Dobitsch (#100 kfzteile24 MS Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "I'm not completely satisfied, as we're still lacking a bit of speed. We still need to analyse where we can improve before qualifying."
Andreas Weishaupt (#3 C.Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "We're just now replacing the engine. However, it's going to be quite tight getting it done in time for qualifying. I noticed the loss of power during the Gentlemen session. It then turned out that we needed to swap the engine."
Jens Klingmann (#80 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "The first session went slightly better for us than the afternoon. We're not having the easiest of times on the scrubbed tyres. The strange thing was that, despite the high temperatures, we set our fastest time on new tyres on the tenth lap. It's going to be quite tough in the race, because our BMW is one of the GT3 cars which get very warm inside the cockpit. That doesn't worry me, though: I love this sort of challenge."
Luca Ludwig (#21 Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "Everything is going according to plan. We're satisfied, and there currently is nothing unusual to report."
