Dominik Baumann (#80 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "Jens posted best time in both sessions. Up until that point, it had been important to have the right tyres on the car both on a wet and a drying track. Previously, it had not been easy to see how we were doing due to the conditions."
Jens Klingmann (#80 BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, BMW Z4 GT3): "We were quick and fast both on a wet and semi-dry track. It´ll be interesting to see how things go on a completely dry track."
Edward Sandström (#100 kfzteile24 MS RACING, Audi R8 LMS ultra): Spa is simply great – the best track on the calendar. Driving here is fantastic. We should be quick here in the dry and in the wet, but things could get rather tricky if conditions are neither wet nor dry."
Kelvin van der Linde (#1 C Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "Spa is a terrific track and my mum and brother have come to watch this weekend. So far, everything has gone well. In view of the changeable conditions, though, it´s not been easy so far to draw any conclusions. We did well in the wet, as we were lacking a bit of top speed, and we were able to compensate for that on the wet track."
Marc Gassner (#23 MRS GT-Racing, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3): "We´ve still got problems. As far as our sister car goes, the problems are identical to those of two weeks ago at the Red Bull Ring. We´ve got problems with boost pressure. We´re down as much as 20km/h on the straights, and we´re losing more than three seconds over a lap.
Diego Alessi (#69 Callaway Competition, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "My tyre pressures were too high in first practice, so the car felt a bit strange. Things went well on a dry track, and we are certainly a force to be reckoned with here."
René Bourdeaux (#99 Herberth Motorsport, Porsche 911 GT3): "The fixture here in Spa is the only foreign leg that I´ll be contesting this year. It´s incredibly brilliant, driving here in Spa. I got close to the times that I posted in practice two years ago, so things are going really well."
