Kelvin van der Linde (#1 C.Abt Racing, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "We had to give the first session a miss after changing our engine. Things went OK in FP2, though we did manage to avoid using a new set of tyres. Anyway, I'm feeling confident about qualifying."
Lennart Marioneck (#12 Senkyr Motorsport, BMW Z4 GT3): "We're still a bit too slow, but we'll get that sorted. After hardly getting any driving done at Oschersleben, we should be able to start accumulating some experience here."
Hari Proczyk (#42 HP Racing, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "Everything has gone well for us so far. I'm getting excited about qualifying. I'm betting on a pole position for the new Lamborghini."
Sebastian Asch (#21 Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3): "We've had a problem so far with our front suspension and hardly managed to get any driving done in free practice. We've seen from the car entered by HP that the Mercedes runs well and is fast here."
Clemens Schmid (#8 Bentley Team HTP, Bentley Continental GT3): "Unfortunately, we're not quite up to our top speed. We are fast in the third sector but losing time in the first and second sectors. I reckon that we'll run out of steam in qualifying as well."
Marc Gassner (#23 MRS GT-Racing, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3): "We're having some trouble with the electronics - various sensors in the car have been playing up. I hope that we can identify the source of the problem before qualifying, because up to now, I haven't completed a proper lap here."
Edward Sandström (#100 kfzteile24 MS RACING, Audi R8 LMS ultra): "This track is simply fantastic. It's great driving here. It's been very good from a sporting perspective too. The gaps are incredibly narrow, and I'm curious to see where we are after qualifying."
Sven Barth (#13 RWT Racing, Corvette Z06.R GT3): "We're satisfied; so far, everything has gone well. Now it's all about carrying our good performance over into qualifying. That won't be easy, because it's tighter here than ever before."
