Baumann and Klingmann test new BMW M6 GT3: ADAC GT Masters race winners develop new BMW

BMW will continue development work this week on the new M6 GT3 destined to replace the Z4 GT3 next year. BMW will be testing in Portugal this week after the roll-out a month ago in Dingolfing and a test last week with former ADAC GT Masters drivers Maxime Martin and Lucas Luhr in Monteblanco, Spain.

Portimão on the Algarve is where the two ADAC GT Masters race winners Jens Klingmann and Dominik Baumann are heading to join the test programme for the new BMW GT sports car. Klingmann and Baumann will test the M6 GT3 along with Luhr and Jörg Müller.

After undergoing an intensive test programme, the new BMW M6 GT3, powered by a four-litre V8 turbo engine with more than 500 bhp, will be delivered to customer teams at the end of the year in time for the start of the 2016 season.
