Bentley Team HTP confirm first drivers: Nine-strong driver line-up at Bentley.

Bentley HTP have a very comprehensive programme for their first season with the Bentley Continental GT3 and have now confirmed the names of their first nine drivers. In addition to contesting the ADAC GT Masters, the team will line up in the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and in other series.

Bentley HTP will field a squad that includes former Audi driver Fabian Hamprecht, plus Luca Stolz, now in his second season in a row with HTP, Clemens Schmid from Austria and Frenchman Vincent Abril. Hamprecht, Schmid and Stolz are part of HTP Motorsport´s new Bentley Junior Team which HTP are in the process of setting up to promote young talent. Triple ADAC GT Masters race winner Maximilian Buhk, who has recently signed to Bentley as a works driver, will also continue to line up with HTP Motorsport.

Apart from the five young talents already mentioned, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Harold Primat, Christian Menzel and ADAC GT Masters race winner Lance David Arnold will also drive for Bentley HTP.

Which members of HTP´s squad will race the Bentley in the ADAC GT Masters has yet to be decided. The team plan to sign more drivers.

Bentley Team HTP will tackle these fresh challenges from new headquarters near Altendiez in Limburg. Since January, HTP Motorsport have been managing their pan European racing activities from new premises that include state-of-the-art workshop facilities. Bentley HTP Motorsport have also increased staffing for their first season, and new team members support an otherwise unchanged line-up. On the technical side, Renaud Dufour is still head of the engineering division, while Gerhard Ungar supports the team.

"In our first season with Bentley, we will have a strong driver line-up and a good mix of young talents and experienced pros, who know how to win through in both races and championships," said Norbert Brückner, Team Principal at Bentley HTP. "Bringing on young drivers is very important to us, which is why we´ve established the Bentley Junior Team in order to especially promote young talent. The performance of our Bentley Continental GT3 was promising in the first test, and with this squad of drivers, we are well prepared for the season ahead."
