Ford GT to make comeback on final of GT Masters: Lambda Performance entering a Ford GT in the ADAC GT Masters

After a two-year absence, Lambda Performance are once again entering their spectacular US supercar. Driving the Ford in the grand finale will be Frank Kechele (29, GER) and Nico Verdonck (29, BEL) who took the Ford to a maiden victory at Spa-Francorchamps in 2013. SPORT1 will be showing the two final races of the 2015 ADAC GT Masters campaign live from 13:00 CEST on Saturday and Sunday. Supercars sporting eight different manufacturers' badges on their grilles will be lining up on the grid.

Two years ago, the Ford GT signed off from the competition with a double victory. At the behest of Andreas Müller, son of Lambda Performance team founder Harald Müller who died last year, the Ford is now back on the race track.

"Our result at Hockenheim in 2013 will obviously be hard to beat," says Frank Kechele, who is likewise returning to the cockpit after two years. "In tests over recent weeks, the Ford has been fast, consistent and reliable, and I've quickly reaccustomed myself to the car. Now I'm curious to see how competitive we are at the weekend."
