In the technical follow-up subsequent to the second qualifying session of the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring, car number 21 (Team Zakspeed, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3) was found to have an empty weight of 1331.5 kilos. The minimum permissible weight of the vehicle, including handicap ballast, is 1.335 kilos.

After allowance for error on the scales, the scrutineers ruled that the car was 1.5kg underweight in breach of Article 26.15 of the ADAC GT Masters Regulations.

In accordance with Decision No 35 of the stewards, car #21 has been excluded from qualifying sessions one and two but is permitted to contest Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2015 season, albeit starting from the back of the grid.

As a consequence of Sebastian Asch and Luca Ludwig losing grid positions two (Race 1) and eight (Race 2) respectively, the rest of the field moves up one place.
