The Corvette Z06.R GT3 has been one of the most successful models to compete in the ADAC GT Masters. So far, the US sports car hasn't missed a single ADAC GT Masters weekend, notching up 23 race wins and four titles along the way. Ten years into its competitive career, it is about to pass the baton on to its successor. The Leingarten-based Callaway Competition outfit run by Ernst Wöhr and Giovanni Ciccone has developed the new Corvette C7 GT3. Based on the seventh and current generation of the legendary US sports car, the new GT3 model for the 2016 season successfully came through testing a fortnight ago.
It will now be unveiled at the ADAC GT Masters finale at Hockenheim on the weekend of 2nd - 4th October. Callaway Competition will present the new Corvette to partners and journalists after the first race on Saturday afternoon (3rd October). Afterwards, fans will also have the chance to inspect the new supercar.
