Debut competitive outing for the new Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX in the ADAC GT Masters: For the visit of the Super Sports Car League to the Red Bull Ring in Austria on the weekend of 5th - 7th June, Reiter Engineering will be entering the final development version of the Gallardo. Reiter are one of the most successful teams in the history of the competition, and this will be their first race in the Gallardo R-EX which has been updated for the 2015 campaign. This version is characterised by a wider body. The Gallardo won the ADAC GT Masters in the 2007 and 2010 seasons. 21 race victories and 27 pole positions make it one of the most successful sports cars to have contested the series. It has already had one previous triumph at the Red Bull Ring in 2011.

The Gallardo will be driven by Tomas Enge and ADAC GT Masters newcomer David Russell from Australia. V8 Supercar driver Russell will also share the Gallardo R-EX cockpit with Enge in the race at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium (19th - 21st June).
