BigFM Racing Schütz to give young drivers a chance: ADAC Formula 4 Champion Dienst moves to ADAC GT Masters

New look, new Porsche, new team name and new drivers at Team Schütz Motorsport for the 2016 ADAC GT Masters season. Christian Schütz´s outfit has a new name for 2016 – BigFM Racing Team Schütz Motorsport – and a new look, as they say goodbye to the familiar black/yellow livery for their racing cars. Fresh faces too in the cockpit of the new Porsche 911 GT3 R. BigFM Racing Schütz Motorsport intend to give two young newcomers to GT racing a chance – ADAC Formula 4 champion Marvin Dienst (19, Germany) and ADAC Sports Foundation protégé Lukas Schreier (20, Germany).

The most successful Porsche team of recent years will be lining up for their fifth Super Sports Car League season in 2016. The results speak for themselves, since in 2012, 2014 and in 2015, Schütz team members were in contention for the drivers´ title right up until the final race weekend.

The two drivers, whose job it is to build on these successes in 2016 with the new Porsche 991 GT3 R, may be rookies in the ADAC GT Masters but have certainly notched up some impressive results between them. In 2015, 19-year-old Marvin Dienst was crowned supreme champion of the brand new ADAC Formula 4 in its inaugural season with eight wins to his name. Lukas Schreier, who was made a member of the ADAC Sports Foundation squad in 2016, will be his team-mate. The 20-year-old German showed impressive form in 2015 by taking the overall win in the Porsche Sports Cup Endurance.

"We´ll just have to try to get the boys in the car as much as possible, so that they can prepare and be ready to attack right at the start of the season," said Christian Schütz. "Our main objective is to win the newly introduced rookie standings. We´ll be extremely satisfied if, in addition, we can manage a top-five finish in the team and drivers´ standings."
