Bonaldi Motorsport is looking for points: Two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in Zandvoort

Despite the elimination of various highly demanding segments of the racetrack during the past years, Zandvoort remains a track where "the difference between young boys and real men" is highlighted, as the dearly departed Dutch driver, Rob Slotemaker, used to say. Extremely near the sea, the circuit is also insidious due to the wind which takes the beach sand on the racetrack. The track has marked variations in height and, among the distinctive sections, Tarzan curve deserves to be mentioned. It is a sharp right curve immediately at the end of the starting straight characterised by a marked elevated banking. Another mention is for the very fast tract along the Hunse peak where drivers step on the gas while rising by the Slotemaker curve to brake when the dune peak is reached and where, scaling the hill, drivers face the fast and blind Scheivlak. On this legendary racetrack, which hosted all the thirty editions of the Grand Prix of Formula 1 and now hosts the famous Masters of Formula 3, the two Bonaldi Motorsport crews are expected to perform better and aim at reaching the points zone in the scheduled races.

Emanuele Zonzini: "Our goal in Zandvoort is to end both races within the first ten positions to obtain as many points as we can: to do this, we need to do well in Qualifying. From the beginning of the season and for different reasons, we did not perform as we could do. For example, during our last race at the Nürburgring circuit, in my Qualifying turn I had a problem with the pump of the brake which forced me to start the race at the end of the group. The races showed how our potential is big! Besides, my team mate Florian Spengler and I reached a deep harmony and we work closely in telemetry and we perfectly agree in all decisions we take."
