ADAC GT Masters·28.3.2016

Four-man squad for Grasser Racing now in place: Engelhardt switches to Lamborghini as lead driver in Grasser quartet

The four-man line-up for Grasser Racing's two Lamborghini Huracáns in the ADAC GT Masters is now complete. The team led by Gottfried Grasser has gone for two strong driver pairings: Christian Engelhart (29), an ADAC GT Masters regular since 2012 and six-time race winner, will be sharing the cockpit of the first Lamborghini with series newcomer Ineichen (37) from Switzerland. Another ADAC GT Masters race winner will be taking the wheel of the second Huracán prepared by the outfit based near the Red Bull Ring: Lamborghini Junior Luca Stolz (20), who has spent the past two years contesting the ADAC GT Masters in a Mercedes-Benz and a Bentley, is switching from the front-engine supercar to the low-slung mid-engine Lamborghini in which he will be partnered by Gerhard Tweraser (27) from Austria. Like his Grasser Racing employer, Tweraser's home is right on the doorstep of the Red Bull Ring. He has already driven a Lamborghini and a Corvette in the ADAC GT Masters and can look back on 14 outings in the series.

Grasser Racing have been making the occasional guest appearance in the Super Sports Car League since 2011, but 2016 will be their first full season. Last year, the team from Austria celebrated a maiden sprint race victory when they entered the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 for the fixture at the Red Bull Ring.
