At the beginning of the year JBR Motorsport & Engineering was presented as Audi Sport Customer Racing's new team. The team will participate in ADAC GT Masters and in the newly established ADAC TCR Germany with a new generation Audi R8 LMS and a Seat Leon TCR.

The recruitment of the team's staff has been executed successfully contracting only crew members with an extensive motorsport background gained in top racing categories like F1, DTM and GT racing.

As a final step, the special focus is now on the driver's recruitment for the new Audi R8 LMS for ADAC GT Masters and the Seat for ADAC TCR Germany. JBR is currently in negotiations with several drivers and is looking for young racing talents as well as experienced drivers.

The team's in-house roll-out with the new Audi R8 LMS is going to happen already in the coming week. Starting in the beginning of February the R8 is set up for test runs wherefore individual appointments can be arranged. Additionally JBR will hold a TCR test event in Alkersleben, Germany on February 13th and 14th.
