Weekend with unexpressed potentialities: Bonaldi Motorsport did not obtain the results they could

Due to the not perfect qualifying practice, both crews had to set up recovery races and they had worse results compared to their potentialities. In retrospect, this was a pity as the shown drivers' competitiveness, especially by the couple Emanuele Zonzini/Florian Spengler, would have allowed them to reach the leading positions significantly.

In fact, the crew on the #32 car performed a major recovery last Saturday (seventeen positions were gained) and last Sunday as well they did very well gaining eight positions compared to the starting grid. The couple Patrick Kujala/Miloš Pavlović was not lucky enough. In race 1 they underwent a rear-ending and in race 2, after losing some positions because of an about-turn, some technical problems occurred.

Marco Bielli, team manager: "Unfortunately, last weekend on the Nürburgring racetrack was another difficult one for our team in the ADAC GT Masters championship. In the qualifying practice, the crew Spengler/Zonzini in particular could not realize their potentialities. In both races the car was driven excellently but the rearward positions at the starting grid heavily influenced the results. In race 2 a bad pit-stop did the rest. Kujala/Pavlović faced this unlucky weekend with determination: in race 1 they underwent a rear-ending by Fabian Hamprecht while in race 2 some unsolved technical problems slowed down their recovery. We regret say that we obtained less than what we could."
