Phoenix Racing in ADAC GT Masters comeback: Phoenix Racing to field two Audi R8 LMS in the ADAC GT Masters

Phoenix Racing will be entering two Audi R8 LMS GT3 cars for the 2018 ADAC GT Masters after a one-year absence. One of the four drivers has already been named as Oscar Tunjo. The 21-year-old former Lotus F1 Junior Programme protégé from Colombia has already won plaudits for strong results in series such as the GP3 and Formula Renault 3.5. In 2017, he took the title in the Special Tourenwagen Trophy with ten victories in 14 races.

"I am delighted to be going into this new season with such a talented youngster as Oscar," said Ernst Moser on announcing the arrival of the first ever Colombian in the ADAC GT Masters. "Oscar has already won numerous races in his formula career, and we now have the shared goal of securing further victories in a highly competitive GT Championship."

"I am very pleased to be teaming up with Phoenix Racing and Audi," said Tunjo. "I just can't wait to be competing for victories with them."
