Sachsenring: Comments after Round 12: Observations from the paddock after Sunday's race

Edoardo Mortara (BWT Mücke Motorsport, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P3 overall: "Considering that the Sachsenring weekend was my first in the ADAC GT Masters, I'm satisfied with today's result. It was a lot of fun discovering a whole new world. It would have been difficult to come away with a better result."

Sebastian Asch (BWT Mücke Motorsport, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P3 overall: "It was the maximum we could achieve today. More wasn't possible. We scored important points in the fight for the championship."

Patrick Assenheimer (Mercedes-AMG Team HTP Motorsport, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P4 overall and P3 in Junior class: "We're not happy. However, you have to admit, it was a pretty crazy restart. That's why Luca Stolz was able to out-accelerate and overtake us on the exit from the corner."

Maximilian Götz (Mercedes-AMG Team HTP Motorsport, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P4 overall, P3 in Junior class: "Our performance was good the whole weekend. However, it wasn't quite enough for a podium in the end. Sebastian Asch took advantage of a mistake made by Patrick in the race, which caused us to drop back down into fourth place at the finish line."

Marc Gassner (MRS GT-Racing, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3), P16 overall, winner of Trophy class: "The car was surprisingly competitive. We thought we would struggle more here. I kept out of all the incidents at the start and was then able to gain a few more places due to a couple of collisions in front of me. After that, I was able to keep pace with the cars ahead, and we secured P16 by dint of our own efforts."

Remo Lips (MRS GT-Racing, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3), P16 overall, winner of Trophy class: "The race went well until the restart, and then came the safety car period. I subsequently took a knock to the right-hand side of the car which got damaged as a result. Still, we managed to get to the finish line."
