Timo Scheider in ADAC GT Masters with BMW : Scheider set to debut in the ADAC GT Masters. Eng is moving to the DTM

Newcomer joins the ADAC GT Masters. During an event in Munich on Friday evening to mark the close of the season, BMW announced that two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider will drive a BMW M6 GT3 in next year's ADAC GT Masters. Scheider has raced for the Bavarians since the start of this season (2017). BMW have not yet revealed for which team Scheider will line up and with whom he will share an M6. Scheider is new to the ADAC GT Masters but is very familiar with the platform, as he contested the ADAC Formula 4 with Team Timo Scheider in 2015 and 2016.

Philipp Eng, another BMW driver, is moving from the ADAC GT Masters to join the DTM next year. He was fourth this season in the BMW M6 GT3 prepared by Schnitzer Motorsport. Eng is the second newcomer to join next year's BMW DTM squad after 2015 ADAC Formula 4 championship runner-up Joel Eriksson.
