ADAC GT Masters: Comments following practice: Interim report from drivers after Friday practice in Most

Jens Klingmann (MRS GT-Racing, BMW M6 GT3): "This is my first time here in Most. I really like the circuit. It suits our car, as it flows really well and there are plenty of medium-fast and fast corners. As we saw in second practice, it can be pretty good on fresh tyres. My team-mate Christopher will be driving tomorrow in qualifying. The result gives us hope after our mediocre start in Oschersleben. A finish in the Top Five in qualifying would be terrific. We didn't do too badly on the long runs. A podium would obviously be fantastic."

Christopher Dreyspring (Honda Team Schubert Motorsport, Honda NSX GT3): "We improved gradually and tried out one or two things with setup. I don't think it was too bad in the end. The whole team is happy. We finished in the Top Ten for the first time in the new car - and it's only the second race weekend. I think it may be possible to qualify in the Top Fifteen, but we're looking for more in the race. To get through it and arrive safely, that's most important."

Sheldon van der Linde (Montaplast by Land-Motorsport, Audi R8 LMS): "We've worked very hard today. The car feels good. We focused on preparing for the race today. The track is fun, but overtaking is not all that easy, so tomorrow's qualifying is crucial."

Mirko Bortolotti (ORANGE1 by GRT Grasser, Lamborghini Huracán GT3): "This is our first time here in Most, so learning the track was paramount. We ran through our entire test programme. I'm satisfied with how the day has gone, but we've still got plenty of work to do on the car. It's going to be a tough weekend, you know."

Marvin Kirchhöfer (Callaway Competition, Corvette C7 GT3-R): "So far so good. I've got a good feeling about the car. I think we've done a great job here over the last two days, have done a lot of testing and have tried out many things, which makes me feel very positive. The track is great. However, there are some real bumpy bits in places, but otherwise it's fun."

Stefan Mücke (BWT Mücke Motorsport, Audi R8 LMS): "We didn't really get to drive much this morning because of a technical problem on the outlap, which we had to fix first. That's why this afternoon's session was all the more important to us. I think we've made decent progress with the car's development. It was good that we were able to do some testing yesterday as well, because the car is still very new to me. This will be my first sprint race in the Audi. It's great to be back in Most. I drove here a few times nine or ten years ago. This is a real fun track. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. We've got an excellent setup for the race."

Max Hofer (Phoenix Racing, Audi R8 LMS): "It's pretty obvious that Most isn't an Audi track, but the pace is there, good enough to take decent points towards the championship. That's our goal. We aim to be among the top three Audi cars this weekend. We feel really confident."

Philip Ellis (Phoenix Racing, Audi R8 LMS): "It's hard to say where we stand, because no one knows what the other teams have tried out today, but I think our race pace is good. We cannot assume, though, that tomorrow will go as perfectly as Saturday at Oschersleben did, but still, we intend to take as many points as possible."
