The Italian will share the Mercedes-AMG GT3 bearing start number 84 with regular crew member Patrick Assenheimer in the fourth round of the ADAC GT Masters. "I'm really looking forward to working with Raffaele and hope we can find a good set-up that will suit the demands of this challenging circuit. If we succeed, then we should be able to finish up front," said Assenheimer.
Marciello was officially named as a Mercedes-AMG driver earlier this year and has already done some Formula 1 testing with Ferrari and Sauber. He won the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2012. He currently leads the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.
Assenheimer will team up with different partners at AutoArenA Motorsport for the remaining races of this Super Sport Car League season.
