ADAC GT Masters·14.9.2018

First look at ADAC GT4 Germany: Fans can get an idea of what the new series will be like at Hockenheim

The ADAC GT4 Germany will join forces with the ADAC GT Masters next year and is set to become an additional, very attractive support series. During this year's ADAC GT Masters season finale at the Hockenheimring this weekend, fans can gain an initial impression of the vehicles they might see out on track next year.

The Audi R8 LMS GT4, the BMW M4 GT4, the Mercedes-AMG GT4, the Porsche Cayman GT4 and the KTM X-BOW GT4 will be on display in the paddock. There will be a meeting on Sunday at Hockenheim, during which information will be made available to team bosses interested in taking part in ADAC GT4 Germany next year.

The ADAC GT4 Germany will stage six meetings alongside the ADAC GT Masters in 2019. The regulations of the new series are based on those already well established in the ADAC GT Masters: Two drivers will share a vehicle. There will be a pit stop window mid-way through the race for the driver handover. The series is aimed at junior racers and amateur drivers in the FIA's Bronze and Silver categories. The SRO Motorsports Group's Balance of Power regs will ensure that the field is evenly matched and that everyone has an equal chance.
