Change of plans at Callaway Competition: 2013 ADAC GT Masters champion Daniel Keilwitz, will line up alongside Marvin Kirchhöfer in the Corvette C7-R GT3 at all seven meetings this year. Due to a clash of dates with races in America, the current team championship holders had planned to field the record ADAC GT Masters race winner in the third meeting at the Red Bull Ring and subsequently, but now, Keilwitz will be chasing his second title in all 14 races.
"We had a good race in the USA, one that we can be really happy with. Nevertheless, we promptly decided within the team that I should now contest the full ADAC GT Masters season. As I was very unlucky with an accident at Spa-Francorchamps last year and had to miss a couple of races, my partner Jules was obviously able to become the sole title winner," said Keilwitz talking about past events and went on to further justify his change of plans, adding:" I have a new, young and talented teammate in Marvin Kirchhöfer. So why not take on the challenge of defending the title, and maybe even both of us can finish on top ultimately? However, that only makes sense if we start the season together right from the word go."
