Marc Lieb set to make ADAC GT Masters debut: Le Mans winner will line up as Timo Bernhard's team-mate at Zandvoort

Lieb won Le Mans overall in 2016 and also took the title in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). He's got plenty of GT racing experience as well. Partnering Timo Bernhard, with whom he will share the drive at Zandvoort, he won the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 2007, 2008, 2009 and again in 2011. They are both familiar with the Zandvoort circuit, but their experience of the Dutch track in the dunes goes back quite a few years to when they were in the Porsche Carrera Cup. Nevertheless, they will try to continue the mini series of successes achieved at the Nürburgring with two finishes in the Top Ten for car #17.

"We aim to build on our strong form and finally finish on the podium after taking a decent haul of points from the Nürburgring race weekend," said Team Manager, Klaus Graf. "We're delighted to have Porsche works driver Marc Lieb with us in the team this weekend. He will stand in for Kévin Estre, who will be racing in the WEC."
