The Czech outfit is at its maiden complete season in this exciting and hard-fought German GT Series and showed a good adaptation and growth so far. The team will try and confirm its place among the protagonists of the series on the no. 33 Audi R8 LMS driven by Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler on the circuit close to Dresden.
The race track is one of the shortest of the season and its 3.645 meters feature several up and downhill sections. The layout is quite peculiar and is split in two different parts: the first is more driven and leads into a very fast second part. Right after the start, the first braking point offers good overtaking chances before the more technical part of the circuit that features eleven bends rapidly following one another. The circuit becomes then very fast after turn 12 and goes downhill towards turn 13 and 14 that lead, with a slight uphill, back to the pit straight.
Igor Salaquarda (Team ISR, team principal): "At the eve of the round at Sachsenring, the whole team is motivated to give their best and end the season on a high, especially after the crescendo of performance of the past few races, where we showed we could get strong results. This circuit is new to us, therefore we will try and understand it in free practice aiming to provide the drivers with the best setup and allow them to unleash all the potential of the Audi R8 LMS."
