Nicolai Sylvest and Kim-Luis Schramm registered their best result of the season so far in the Mercedes-AMG entered by Team Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing. Third-best Junior was BMW driver Mikkel Jensen, ably assisted by ex-DTM champion Timo Scheider; their BMW M6 GT3 finished fourth overall.
Porsche driver Jan-Erik Slooten won the Pirelli Trophy for amateurs for the third time this season, his previous two victories having come at Oschersleben and Zandvoort, "We are happy," said the driver and team manager of IronForce by RING POLICE. "Yesterday, we had a pretty chaotic day with a puncture and a damaged engine. In the circumstances, we are quite satisfied with today’s result. In the race, I got hit by Robert Renauer, but he’s already apologised. That was not a problem at all."
