Team ISR makes ADAC GT Masters debut : Czech team runs one Audi R8 LMS for Salaquarda/Stippler

The Czech outfit, at its first appearance in the ADAC GT Masters, will line up the n.33 Audi R8 LMS to be driven by Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler. The drivers pairing had the chance to run a testing session at the Autodrom Most in the past weeks and already exchanged behind the wheel of the car made in Ingolstadt in the past seasons building a great feeling, thanks also to the participation in the ADAC GT Masters last year.

The double race at the Motorsport Arena of Oschersleben announces to be highly spectacular, with a long entry list featuring some big names in Grand Touring racing. The challenge will get underway on the 3.696 km long circuit characterized by long straights, wide corners and strong braking zones that will certainly provide several overtaking chances. The first sector of the circuit features wide corners like the Hotel and Hasseröder, while the mid part of the circuit is faster with the Shell, Amman and Bauer Kurve complex that leads into the Zeppelin-Kurve, which is the final braking point before heading back on the main straight.

Igor Salaquarda (Team ISR, Team Principal) says: "The start to a new campaign is always an exciting moment, one full of expectations. This year it is particularly so, as we are about to face the challenge of a new championship. This is going to be a high-level sporting challenge with 36 cars and 8 marques represented, which pushes us to hunt for a good result from the first race. Filip and Frank know the Audi R8 LMS and this championship well, therefore I believe they can award us with great satisfaction".
