Team ISR ready for Nürburgring: Czech outfit wants to continue improved form

The Czech outfit is ready to make it to the track after a two months long break with the drivers pairing made by Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler at the wheel of the n.33 Audi R8 LMS. The target ahead is to confirm the performance shown at Red Bull Ring, where Team ISR has been shining with a bold performance.

The double challenge of this mid-season round of the exciting GT series will take place on the home of German motorsport: the Nürburgring, where a perfect balance and driving precision is paramount.

After the start/finish line, the circuit features the famous Mercedes Arena, a series of four corners that often produce spectacular racing action, especially in the initial laps. The track then continues with a slight downhill section leading to the Ford Kurve and the famous Dunlop hairpin. The second part of the circuit is faster and the braking point of the NGK chicane will certainly offer overtaking chances before the Coca-Cola Kurve that leads again on to the pit straight.

"Getting back on track after such a long break is definitely exciting, especially after the result scored at Red Bull Ring, which is our best result in ADAC GT Masters yet," says team principal Igor Salaquarda. "Tyre management will be crucial at Nürburgring, temperatures will be very high and driving skills will be needed to get the most out of the Audi R8 LMS on such a technical circuit. We are quite focused on this weekend, we showed a good crescendo of performance in the first part of the season and we intend to keep the momentum up."
