One month down the road of the previous race, engines are about fire up again at Team ISR getting on track this coming weekend at Red Bull Ring.
The Czech outfit will again line up Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler in the no. 33 Audi R8 LMS to confirming the performances put in at the home race in Most and be again a protagonist of one of the most exciting European championships for GT cars.
Red Bull Ring, with its 4.318 meters, 10 corners and a hilly setting, despite being one of the shortest race tracks of the whole season, is doubtless one of the most spectacular layout. At the end of the main straight drivers will have to go through the tight right-hander Castrol Edge followed by the famous up-hill Remus Kurve, which will offer overtaking chances and attract a lot of supporters on the grand stands. The mid sector features long corners like Rauch and Würth Kurve, that require a lot of precision, before the two down-hill bends Rindt and Red Bull Mobile that lead back into the main straight.
Team Principal Igor Salaquarda said: "Red Bull Ring is certainly an highly spectacular circuit, challenging with its up and down-hills that allows for intense battles. It requires a perfect balance on the car. This circuit is quite different from those we faced so far, but we have great feelings at the eve and I believe drivers and team will get the most out of the weekend. Bad weather conditions will make everything trickier, but this is part of the game and unforeseen situations can hold surprises.“
