Asch and Ludwig back together for HB Racing: Ferrari outfit will once again field a 488 GT3

Luca Ludwig returns for his second season with the Austrian outfit. For Sebastian Asch, it will be his first campaign at the wheel of the team's bright red Ferrari. However, this is a pairing that has already enjoyed multiple successes together in past ADAC GT Masters seasons. In 2015, their three race wins in the Super Sports Car League were enough to secure them the title. The following year, they were again in contention with two wins. These two established drivers now aim to shake up the field as an HB Racing duo.

Luca Ludwig is sounding upbeat in the run-up to the season: "We did a fantastic job as a team in 2018, producing some strong results. With Sebastian Asch as co driver, I'm hopeful of challenging for the title in my second season at HB Racing."

But it's not only past triumphs that the sons of touring car legends Klaus Ludwig and Roland Asch have in common: wealth of experience will also be a key factor in their renewed partnership. These two veterans have a combined total of more than 200 race starts, 22 race wins, three championship titles and eleven pole positions - a greater tally than any other driver pairing currently contesting the series.

Team Manager Andreas Fuchs is delighted with the makeup of his squad: "In Luca Ludwig and Sebastian Asch, we have signed two of the top names in touring car racing. We see this partnership as being real contenders for the title. A big thank-you goes to our main sponsor OM-Klebetechnik and to our other partners and sponsors who have made this project possible."

After the first round of testing at Monza, Sebastian Asch professes himself highly motivated: "The Ferrari is a fantastic racing car. I hope that, with my more than ten years of racing experience, I can contribute to the forthcoming test and development programme. The team is well set up and will get maximum performance right from the start."

On the basis of their creditable performances in the 2018 season, HB Racing will receive in-depth factory support from Michelotto in 2019.
