Franck Perera (Orange1 by GRT Grasser, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo), P1 overall: “With this win, we’ve shown that we are competitive in different conditions. First the pole position in the wet, then the victory in the dry. It was by no means easy. At the start, I obviously wanted to stay ahead without taking too many risks, and that’s what I managed to do. After that, I tried to pull out a gap while also going easy on the tyres for Rolf’s stint. He then did a great job and made sure of the victory.”

Rolf Ineichen (Orange1 by GRT Grasser, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo), P1 overall: “To an outsider, I think that it probably looked as if it was all very controlled and easy, but that certainly wasn’t the case from my perspective. It was very tricky. I pulled out of the box and hit the wet verge on the outside of Turn 1, which caused quite a big skid. All I tried to do after that was complete the race safely. Franck did a mega job. He put the car on pole this morning with a great lap. That laid the groundwork for our victory. I’m very happy with the result. It’s a huge success for Orange1 by GRT Grasser.”

Timo Bernhard (Küs Team75 Bernhard, Porsche 911 GT3 R), P2 overall: “After Saturday, when we seemed to have much more going for us, we got our just deserts today. Second place and a third podium for number 17 car - I’m really, really happy. The Nürburgring has always been good to me personally, and it certainly didn’t disappoint on this occasion. It’s a shame about our sister car. Matteo and Adrien did a great job in qualifying and in the race, but unfortunately they got shoved aside. Too bad they didn’t finish. Anyway, this P2 finish gives us new momentum. We’ll continue to work towards our first win of the season, which we are determined to get some time before the year is over.”

Klaus Bachler (Küs Team75 Bernhard, Porsche 911 GT3 R), P2 overall: “Second place today is mega. I’m very, very happy. We had a good quali and then got off to a great start. It was an excellent pit stop by the team, and Timo put in a perfect stint. It was a tough race, and the pressure was unrelenting, but we didn’t make a single mistake. It was a perfect race for us, in which we scored a lot of points for coming second.”

Patric Niederhauser (HCB-Rutronik Racing, Audi R8 LMS), P3 overall: “Kelvin did a great job and laid the foundations for our podium finish with his qualifying result. It was a pity that we lost a position at the pit stop. I then tried to put pressure on Timo Bernhard and didn’t let up, but he didn’t make any mistakes. Nonetheless, we are very happy with the podium.”

Kelvin van der Linde (HCB-Rutronik Racing, Audi R8 LMS), P3 overall: “Things can change so quickly in the ADAC GT Masters. That’s why, after Zandvoort, we were determined to fight back and to score as many points as possible. In that regard, we were successful.”

Maximilian Götz (Mann-Filter Team HTP, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P6 overall: “Not a bad points haul, but also not what we had imagined. The race again went very well for us, and we gained a lot of positions. Just like yesterday, we had the speed to make it onto the podium. But that’s no good in a field as strong as this if qualifying isn’t perfect. 22 points in total this weekend – that’s what you might call damage limitation.”

Michele Beretta (Orange1 by GRT Grasser, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo), P7 overall and winner in Pirelli Junior class: “It was by no means an easy race, because our car wasn’t as fast as that of our team-mates. Unfortunately, I lost two positions due to minor errors. Towards the end, the Corvette kept pushing from behind and I was unable to fend off the challenge.”

Max Hofer (Montaplast by Land-Motorsport, Audi R8 LMS), P9 overall and P2 in Pirelli Junior class: “We can be very satisfied with the race, even if the straight-line speed was not as good this weekend as it was at Zandvoort. But you can’t expect it to always be that good. Our results were actually better than our speed. We drove with intelligence and were therefore able to gain positions in both races. Towards the end, I expected that something would happen in our group that was fighting for seventh place. I decided to take a chance, and it worked out beautifully. I was then able to get past three cars.”

Jeffrey Schmidt (BWT Mücke Motorsport, Audi R8 LMS), P10 overall and P3 in Pirelli Junior class: “At the start of any race, you obviously want to make progress through the field. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to do that, because there were too many things going wrong. We didn’t quite have the pace of the cars in front. I collided with a fellow Audi driver. After that, the steering was out and the race was effectively over. There wasn’t a lot I could do about it.”

Philip Ellis (Mann-Filter Team HTP, Mercedes-AMG GT3), P17 overall: “I was stuck behind the BMW the whole time after the start. He held everyone up but was so fast down the straights that I couldn’t get past and ruined my tyres. The weekend was really frustrating. We should have had the potential to be among the front-runners, as we were at Zandvoort, but we were unable to convert that into a result.”

Adrien de Leener (Küs Team75 Bernhard, Porsche 911 GT3 R), DNF: “Another disappointment. Matteo had an excellent quali. The car was very good in the wet. We were on the pace despite losing a position at the start. I struggled a lot with the car after pitting. I found it hard to prevent the rear-end from stepping out. Some cars were faster than me, but I really wanted to get into the Top Ten, as there were two guest entrants in the race, who wouldn’t get any points. Unfortunately, an opponent overcooked things a bit and effectively ended my race.”
