Following a challenging season opener in Oschersleben, the Czech outfit aims for an important result on the home track where the #33 Audi R8 LMS driven by Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler will try to get the most out of the good knowledge of the track and the support of several fans on grandstands.
The venue of this challenge did not change from last year: the 4.212 meters long circuit is located north-west of Prague, not far from the German border. The Autodrom Most is characterized by its hilly layout and is a very technical racetrack. After the start/finish straight drivers will go through the first chicane, which will offer overtaking chances. This will be followed by a fast and driven sector. The mid part of the circuit is flowing but has several corners and car balance is going to be crucial before the two wide right-handers that lead into the main straight again.
Team principal Igor Salaquarda: „We are back to Most, our home racetrack. This is clearly one of the most important moments of the season for our team, especially in this second season as we have the reference of last year, when we came close to the podium in race two. On a technical standpoint, this is not one of the easiest circuits in the calendar. It requires a great setup work and a good qualifying will be crucial to get a good starting position”.
