Marschall, Schreiner stay at HCB-Rutronik Racing: Championship-winning team confirms first driver pairing

The championship-winning team of 2019 has announced its first driver pairing for 2020: Carrie Schreiner and Dennis Marschall will again be sharing the number 8 car. The duo finished in the points several times this past season, their best performance of the campaign coming in the Saturday race at Hockenheim when they finished third in overall and first in the Pirelli Junior classification. The result came after Marschall had secured pole position in qualifying.

"We are pleased about the continuation of this highly congenial partnership and the confidence in our team that it signifies," says team boss Fabian Plentz. "Carrie and Dennis have become an integral part of the HCB-Rutronik Racing family, and we are sure that the two of them will enjoy even greater success in 2020."

Schreiner is also looking forward to her second season in the Super Sports Car League: "Dennis was extremely strong in the second half of the season. We have already proven that we are a very good team. I am really looking forward to the season because there is so much I still can learn from Dennis and we have become good friends. Our target for 2020 is to score points on a regular basis."

Team-mate Marschall concurs: "We've been able to show our potential this season. Carrie and I got better every weekend. We want to build on that and spring one or two surprise results in the course of the year. In HCB-Rutronik Racing, we have the support of the best Audi outfit in the field and a really good chance of competing for a top finish in the Pirelli Junior classification."
