ADAC GT Masters·11.9.2019

New driver pairings at Aust Motorsport: Polish driver, Gosia Rdest, to debut in ADAC GT Masters

Christopher Dreyspring will stand in for Swiss driver, Remo Lips, in the Audi R8 LMS with start number 3. The three-time supreme winner of the Pirelli Trophy classification cannot compete at Hockenheim due to illness but hopes to be back in contention for the season Sachsenring finale. Dreyspring drove the team's sister car at Autodrom Most earlier in the season.

There have also been changes to the crew due to contest the penultimate round in the Super Sports Car League in the sister car. French driver, Stéphane Tribaudini, has other commitments, so 26-year-old Gosia Rdest from Poland will make her ADAC GT Masters debut in the #4 Audi. She secured podiums in the Audi Sport TT Cup in 2016 and 2017, lined up in ADAC TCR Germany in 2017 and competed most recently in the women's W series.

"I'm really looking forward to my ADAC GT Masters debut," said Rdest, who will be the second lady driver in the field along with Carrie Schreiner, who also races an Audi. "The ADAC GT Masters is one of the most challenging and professional series in GT3 racing with the strong drivers and teams. So far, I've only had experience of GT3 racing during a race weekend in Barcelona, but I know the Hockenheim track well and can familiarise myself with the car and get to know the team there on Thursday. With a GT3 vehicle, aerodynamics play an important role, so I hope that my experience in single-seater racing will help. Hockenheim is one of my favourite tracks, which is another reason why I feel so positive."
