New young duo at Team PROsport Performance: The names of the second pair of drivers in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 have just been announced

Team PROsport Performance from Wiesemscheid, a small town not far from the Nürburgring, have acquired the services of the two young racing drivers, Hugo de Sadeleer (21) and Valentin Hasse-Clot (22). The Swiss-French pairing will contest races in the 2019 ADAC GT Masters, driving the brand-new Aston Martin Vantage GT3. They are set to become the second pair of drivers at PROsport alongside Aston Martin works driver Maxime Martin (Belgium) and record-breaking race winner, Daniel Keilwitz (Germany). The Super Sports Car League will kick off the season April 26th - 28th at Oschersleben with the first of seven lots of two races. As official race partner of Aston Martin Racing (AMR), PROsport Performance will field two new Aston Martin Vantage GT3s in the ADAC GT Masters.

Christoph Esser, Team Manager at PROsport Performance, told us: "Hugo in the LMP2 and Valentin in the French Porsche one-make cup have already proven their talent. They are young and ambitious, have known each other for several years now and are keen to have a good showing in the highly competitive ADAC GT Masters."

Hugo de Sadeleer first got started in karting and graduated to racing sports prototypes via Formula BMW and Formula Renault in 2017. Driving Team United Autosport's Ligier JS P217, de Sadeleer secured two wins in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in his first year, finishing runner-up and best Rookie at his first attempt. Still driving the Ligier prepared by United Autosport, he excelled in the 2017 24-Hours of Le Mans along with Will Owen (USA) and Filipe Albuquerque (Portugal), taking fifth place in the standings and finished seventh overall in 2018 with Owen and ex-Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya (Colombia). "I'm really excited to be able to contest my first GT3 season with PROsport Performance and Aston Martin in 2019. This is a new challenge that makes me very pleased," said de Sadeleer.

Valentin Hasse-Clot also began his motorsport career in karting and became French champion in the national 150 cc kart racing series in 2013. He found his way into the Porsche one-make cup via Formula 4 in France and Italy and through Formula Renault. He was best Rookie in the French Carrera Cup in 2017 when he also took his maiden win. In addition to competing in the Carrera Cup in France, he gained experience of racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and also lined up a couple of times during 2018 in the British Carrera Cup and Porsche GT3 Cup in the Benelux countries, securing his best result of the season at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). "The best GT3 drivers compete in the ADAC GT Masters and I want to go up against them. The competition is tough, but that will only help me improve," said Valentin Hasse-Clot.
