Successful weekend number 1: 2018 team champions Mann-Filter Team HTP had to wait a long time to take their first win of the season - until Saturday's race at the Sachsenring to be precise - but it was a decisive victory that Indy Dontje and Maximilian Götz secured from pole position. With a lead of almost 32 seconds, theirs was the most clear-cut win of the year and the third most comfortable victory ever seen in the Super Sports Car League. "The whole team thoroughly deserved this win," said delighted Team Principal, Norbert Brückner. We were often close before, but something always went wrong. This win will do my team a power of good. They just never gave up."

Remarkable: Indy Dontje and Maximilian Götz were the eighth different crew to win a race in the 2019 ADAC GT Masters.

Successful weekend number 2: Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing brought their season to a satisfactory conclusion at the Sachsenring after experiencing a tough year. On Saturday, Mick Wishofer and Kelvin Snoeks in third place achieved the first third podium finish of the season for the German outfit in the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Jimmy Eriksson and Daniel Keilwitz subsequently went out and did it again, taking second place. "We've not always had it easy this season, but in the end, we realised that we were definitely on an upward trend and regained our former strength. We will try to continue in the same vein next season, so that things can go better right from the start," said the team's two managing directors, Peter and Philipp Zakowski.

Out and out winner number 1: For the first time this season, Corvette driver Sven Barth managed to win both races in the Pirelli Trophy category at the Sachsenring, securing victories seven and eight in the class for amateur drivers after clinching the Pirelli Trophy championship last time out.

Out and out winner number 3: The Pirelli Junior class was also dominated by one single driver at the finale. Max Hofer in the Audi overtook Montaplast by Land-Motorsport team-mate Ricardo Feller in the standings by securing two victories in class and the prestigious Junior championship title as a result.

Junior school: With this year's champion, Max Hofer, this is now the third time in four years that a Montaplast by Land-Motorsport driver has taken the title in the Pirelli Junior classification after Sheldon van der Linde in 2018 and Connor De Phillippi in 2016.

Championship runners-up twice: Orange1 by GRT Grasser finished the season second in the team classification while Mirko Bortolotti and Christian Engelhart also finished second overall, achieving the Austrian team's best ever end-of-year results in two different categories. Nevertheless, Team Principal, Gottfried Grasser was not completely satisfied - especially in view of the fact that his outfit had taken the lead in the team championship in Saturday's race: "I have to admit that the championship-winning car was just a little bit stronger than ours. The weekend did not go at all the way we'd imagined. We couldn't quite string things together, but at the end of the day, we managed to fend off 17 teams and 32 driver pairings, who finished behind Mirko and Christian, so it's definitely not all bad."

Maiden pole: Indy Dontje secured his maiden pole in the ADAC GT Masters on Saturday in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 prepared by Mann-Filter Team HTP. The Dutchman was the tenth different driver to start out from the top spot in 2019. This was the Mercedes-AMG's 20th pole in the series.

Clear-cut wins: Drivers clinched lights-to-flag victories in both races. Indy Dontje and Maximilian Götz maintained their lead as they headed to victory and during the pit stop window as did Patric Niederhauser and Kelvin van der Linde.

Double entrants: Two drivers - Christer Jöns and Marvin Dienst - contested both the ADAC GT Masters and the ADAC GT4 at the Sachsenring. While Jöns switched from the EFP Car Collection by TECE Audi to a McLaren prepared by Dörr Motorsport, Dienst remained true to Mercedes-AMG and Schütz Motorsport.

Switch of brands: Two drivers lined up with different brands in the 2019 ADAC GT Masters. As Callaway Competition were unable to take part, Markus Pommer switched to Aust Motorsport for the finale, taking the wheel of their Audi R8 LMS instead of a Corvette C7 GT3-R. Daniel Keilwitz started the season in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 from Propeak Performance but raced the Mercedes-AMG belonging to Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing at Hockenheim and at the Sachsenring.

Successful model: This win for van der Linde and Niederhauser was the 15th in all for the second-generation Audi R8 LMS and the fourth for the Evo version introduced this year.
