All Super Sports Car League races will be broadcast live on free-to-air TV with pre-race warm-up and in-depth analysis. At least one race from one of the ADAC partner series - the ADAC Formula 4, the ADAC TCR Germany and the ADAC GT4 Germany - will also be shown live on free-to-air TV each race weekend. A 60-minute programme of highlights scheduled for Sunday evenings will complete the channel's TV package.
All races from the four series will also be freely available as livestream online and on mobile devices at SPORT1.de and live or after the event on SPORT1+. The multimedia package will be complemented by coverage on SPORT1.de, with SPORT1 apps and SPORT1's social media channels. Some channels will feature news, interviews, articles, videos, picture galleries, results and statistics at or near the race track.
“We are about to start our fifth season with the ADAC, which is a milestone worth noting as regards our successful partnership,” says Dirc Seemann, SPORT1's Editor-in-Chief and Content Director. “We work together well as a team, but apart from that, we also endeavour to continuously develop the series and our coverage in order to inspire audiences afresh every year. The ADAC GT Masters is the flagship offering in our 'Home of Motorsport' programme with its brand diversity and attractive format, plus, the support series also deliver a strong overall package at race weekends with scope for up to ten hours of live broadcasting on free-to-air TV.”
Sarah Valentina will continue to present live broadcasts from the track. Patrick Simon will act as commentator for ADAC GT Masters races and those of the new ADAC GT4 Germany and will be joined at the microphone by a series of guests. Peter Kohl will be the commentator for the ADAC Formula 4 and ADAC TCR Germany races.
