It has been just over a month since the 2019 ADAC GT Masters season finished and Zakspeed already have some good news to report about the upcoming season. Along with long term partner BKK Mobil Oil, the outfit based in the Eifel not far from the famous Nürburgring will line up again in the 2020 Super Sports Car League with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s.

Zakspeed and BKK Mobil Oil will be embarking on their seventh season together. The two Mercedes-AMG GT3s will compete in the main sponsor's livery as usual. "We are delighted that we've been able to develop such an enduring partnership over these past few years," said Team Principals Peter and Philip Zakowski.

Their stated objective is to bring the championship title back to the Eifel, and with that in mind, Zakspeed have already set the ball rolling with a two-year plan designed to bring about their aims and objectives. "We will have our package completely worked out in its entirety by the end of November, which will then give us the chance to concentrate fully on preparations for the 2020 ADAC GT Masters season, starting immediately this December."

As regards pairings, one crew is already in place with the other soon to be decided.
