21-year-old von Danwitz first started out in karting in 2013, taking victories in the ADAC Kart Masters. He switched to cars in 2017, competing mainly in endurance races on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in the years that followed. As he takes the next step in his career, the German driver will now join the ADAC GT Masters and race for Aust Motorsport.

Maximilian Hackländer and Nikolaj Rogivue will share the drive in the team's second Audi.
