The American sports car, bearing the number 77 and driven by Markus Pommer and new team member Jeffrey Schmidt, was unveiled during the online programme, PS on Air - The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters Talk Show. The new look is based on the blue-white-grey design from last year but has been revised and now appears even more dynamic. Having taken 33 wins, Callaway Competition are the most successful team in the ADAC GT Masters and the only outfit that develops its own vehicles.
Markus Pommer won three races in the Super Sports Car League with the Corvette and partner, Marvin Kirchhöfer, in 2019, and is looking forward to the upcoming season: "I'm delighted with what Callaway Competition are doing. It's incredible! They are only a very small team when compared to the other manufacturers but work extremely hard to achieve success and our car is excellent. It's going to be great, driving for Callaway again this year!"
Pommer is also very impressed with new team-mate, Jeffrey Schmidt: "My partner is very fast, knows the series extremely well and has always been a top contender in recent years. We make a good team, and I hope that I can get to drive with him soon."
