The outfit will field a different driver pairing for their guest outing in the Super Sports Car League, since Nico Hülkenberg, who was originally signed to drive, will be racing in Formula 1 this weekend and therefore has other obligations.
"After consulting with our partners, we have decided to go ahead and race at the Nürburgring," the team told us. "With Heiko Hammel, we have managed to find a really quick replacement driver for our Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo with start number 35. We are looking forward to our maiden race in the Super Sports Car League."
32-year-old Hammel last competed in the ADAC GT Masters in 2010 and 2011 and took a podium. He has driven for the team from Mechernich near Bonn for several years now and shares the Lamborghini with 'Dieter Schmidtmann'.
