As last year, the mid-engined sports car will be driven by Maximilian Paul, but this time partnered by Niels Langeveld, a Dutchman who finished third in the ADAC TCR Germany in 2018 and was Audi works driver in the FIA WTCR last year. “I’m delighted to be competing in the ADAC GT Masters this year,” said Langeveld. “I haven’t driven the Audi R8 LMS yet, so I’m all the more excited about the new season.”
The R8 LMS from T3 Motorsport has also had a design makeover for 2020, and this was on show to PS on Air viewers. The racing outfit from Saxony, which is about to contest its second season in the Super Sports Car League, will be fielding not only an Audi but also, for the first time, a Bentley Continental GT3. The team is also expanding into the ADAC GT4 Germany.
