The Carrera Cup launched digitally in June on the RaceRoom esports platform but will be back racing for real within the context of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in September. The remaining Carrera Cup races will then be held under the banner of the Super Sports Car League. Three races are planned for rounds two and three at the Sachsenring and Red Bull Ring with two races held at Zandvoort and at the season finale in Oschersleben. All races run as support to the ADAC GT Masters last 30 minutes. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there will be just one Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland race contested over 45 minutes.
"We are delighted to present a revised racing calendar after our digital launch," said Hurui Issak, Project Manager of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. "In this way, we can give our teams and drivers some perspective for this challenging season during the coronavirus crisis."
