ADAC GT Masters·12.8.2020

Spectators to be admitted to the Nürburgring: Seat-specific, contactless online booking of tickets by individuals

The ADAC GT Masters will take place this weekend (14th - 16th August) at the Nürburgring in front of a limited number of spectators. Hygiene measures developed by the Nürburgring as organisers of the race weekend were approved by Ahrweiler’s local authority this Wednesday. Some 5,000 fans in total will now be able to watch the races at the Nürburgring from three grandstands that will be specially opened. The BMW M Power Grandstand (T3), the Bilstein Grandstand (T4) and the Mercedes Grandstand (T4a) on the main straight will be occupied to a maximum of 30 percent. Fans coming to the race weekend will be directed to their seats in the grandstand from the car park specifically allocated to them. Tickets are only available online, to be purchased by individuals and in advance at adac.de/motorsport. The ticket office at the circuit will be closed. Rules concerning corona will be strictly observed, because the health and safety of everyone involved are still the main focus. Measures in force at the Nürburgring regarding hygiene, social-distancing and mask standards will be enforced at all times.

To ensure full traceability, the three grandstands have been divided up into seating blocks spaced at the regulatory distance apart with four bookable seats. You will need to wear a mask on the way to your seat after having your ticket checked. Ushers will be on hand to guide fans to their seats and ensure that everyone occupies their allotted place should tracing need to take place in the event of an outbreak of infection. Each stand has also been assigned its own car parking area. Signs and arrows will be put in place and must be followed to make sure that people from different stands do not come into contact with one another. Spectators can normally visit the paddock but it will be closed on this occasion. They will have exclusive use of toilet and catering facilities assigned to them in each of the three grandstands.

All ticket holders will be automatically informed by e-mail how to use tickets already purchased to make a seat-specific booking for one of the three grandstands. When arriving by car, please remember to book a ticket for the parking area assigned to your grandstand.

Tickets for the three grandstands are still available in the run-up to the event. Day tickets for Friday cost 10 euros and 25 euros for Saturday and Sunday. A ticket for the weekend is 40 euros. ADAC members can benefit from a 10% discount on weekend and day tickets for Saturday/Sunday. Tickets for the car park are available by the day and cost 8 euros. Children up to the age of 12 can gain free admittance but still need a ticket which must be booked online beforehand. Tickets for the disabled are also available online with a choice of places for wheelchairs. You should be able to produce evidence of disability/child’s age if required.
