However, unlike in the debut season 2019, the racing team from Radebeul near Dresden now plan to have two GT3 cars in this year's line-up. Their first signings for 2020 are 19-year-old Maximilian Paul and 25-year-old Christopher Friedrich. While Paul lined up with T3 Motorsport in 2019, Christopher Friedrich is returning to compete in the ADAC GT Masters, having raced a Porsche 911 GT3 R for KÜS Team75 Bernhard in 2017 and a Mercedes-AMG GT3 from SML CarWellness by Car Collection in 2018.

T3 Team Principal Jens Feucht is looking forward to the new season: "We intend to build on our achievements from the second half of the 2019 season when we achieved eighth place at Hockenheim and a podium finish in the Pirelli Junior classification. 2019 was a year of learning on the job for us, during which, just taking part was really important. We're now aiming to finish in the Top Ten and become established in the mid-field. We analysed the second half of the season in great detail and found one or two areas where we were able to improve the car. We were really good at getting up to racing speed but must improve our performance in qualifying. Of course, we know just how close things are in the ADAC GT Masters, and the standard will, no doubt, be even higher this year, but we want to score points regularly."

Maximilian Paul is keen to benefit from last season's experience this year: "2019 was my first year in motor racing, so obviously, there was a lot to learn. I didn't really know how to go about scrapping in a GT3 car. I had to learn when to pull back and when to just go for it. I must now apply my experience and avoid making the mistakes of the previous season. I want to secure finishes in the Top Ten - in qualifying as well as in the race and consistently finish in the points."

The names of the T3 Motorsport's other drivers in the ADAC GT Masters will be announced shortly, and the final driver pairings will then be decided. "We've got some more surprises up our sleeves!" said Jens Feucht.
