As in last year's campaign, the team based near Prague will be fielding an Audi R8 LMS. The number 33 car will again be driven by Filip Salaquarda and Frank Stippler who have been the regular frontmen for the team since it made its Super Sports Car League debut. That was in 2018, when ISR made an immediate impact with a victory at the Nürburgring. Last year, the team initially struggled to get off the mark, but their form improved as the season progressed. On the final two race weekends, Salaquarda and Stippler posted four Top Ten finishes, and in the last race of the season at the Sachsenring, they narrowly missed out on a podium in P4.

Team ISR intend to build on these results in 2020. Frank Stippler, winner of the 2019 24-hour race at the Nürburgring: "Unfortunately, we took a while to get going last year. We hadn't done much testing with the Evo version of the Audi and, furthermore, we had a new race engineer. So it took a bit of time to get everything up and running. But towards the end of the season, we were back on track."

Regarding Team ISR's seasonal goals, he adds: "We want to be finishing in the Top Ten on a regular basis and to pull off the occasional surprise result with a Top Five. For a private team like ours, that should be a realistic goal."

Team boss Igor Salaquarda hopes that the team has learned from past experiences: "We are very pleased to be on the ADAC GT Masters grid again. This season, we want to concentrate fully on the competition, as the starting grid is really evenly matched. Even though we are only a private team, we want to show that we deserve to be here. We believe that experience from previous seasons and championships will help us to be successful."
