Would you like to see ADAC GT Masters ace drivers in action and then have a go yourself at driving on a real racetrack soon afterwards? Well, SSR performance can make that possible on 19th October at the fastest track on the race series calendar. Participants in an exclusive track day organised by the Munich-based outfit will be able to get a taste of what it’s like to drive on a racetrack at the Red Bull Ring. Some 50 people in all will be able to take part in the event to be held on the spectacular roller-coaster of a circuit in the Alps.
Participants will be divided up initially into carefully selected small groups in order to guarantee the greatest possible driving pleasure. You will be hard at work, posting laps on the 4.31-km circuit from 8.30 to 12.00 noon in the morning and then again from 1.00 to 6.00 pm in the afternoon while getting tips and learning tricks from experienced instructors, who include Michael Ammermüller and Christian Engelhart, the team’s two drivers in the ADAC GT Masters. SSR's mechanics will be on hand to service vehicles. Outings in a Porsche Cup taxi also possible on request.
SSR Performance are contesting their first season in the Super Sports Car League this year and have already achieved some success, clinching victory with the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the second round at the Nürburgring. The outfit’s two drivers, Ammerm üller and Engelhart, are currently in second place in the ADAC GT Masters drivers' standings. The Bavarian company is already well-known for building, renovating and improving sports cars plus classic/vintage cars and has an excellent reputation.
