Mike David Ortmann and Markus Winkelhock will share the number 12 sister car alongside Elia Erhart and Pierre Kaffer, who have a regular drive as partners this season in the number 11 Audi R8 LMS. EFP Car Collection by Tece now have two very experienced driver pairings for the Nürburgring, as Erhart and Kaffer are in their third year together following the Lausitzring opener while Ortmann and Winkelhock shared a cockpit previously in the ADAC GT Masters at BWT Mücke Motorsport during 2018 and 2019.
"Getting an invite to line up at the Nürburgring is just great," said ex-Formula 1 driver Winkelhock. "It's a circuit where Mike and I normally do well, and we took a podium there two years ago. However, it won't be easy, considering the fact that more than 30 vehicles are covered by just one second. Still, we are both well prepared and know our machine, the Audi R8 LMS GT3, inside out. The Nürburgring really suits me and I'm looking forward to the weekend with EFP Car Collection by TECE."
Partner Ortmann added: "I'm mega happy to be lining up with Markus as a guest entrant in the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring. We are all extremely keen to get started and are well placed. The field is very close, but I think we can produce a decent result there. I hope it's not the last time this year that we get to race as guests."
