New driver pairing for Joos at the Lausitzring

Team Joos Sportwagentechnik heads to round four of the ADAC GT Masters at the Lausitzring with a new driver line-up. David Jahn and Jannes Fittje will drive the Porsche 911 GT3 R for the Swabian racing team this weekend.

While Jahn has been driving for the racing team, which is contesting its first full season in the German GT Championship, since the start of the season and has already enjoyed four top-ten results, Fittje is making his debut for the team from Balingen. He replaces Marco Holzer in Lusatia. “It is great that Jannes will be racing for us at the Lausitzring,” says team principal Michael Joos. “He is one of the most talented drivers in the series. We would like to thank Marco Holzer for his commitment and very good performances. As a new team, he really helped us with his input and was an important part of our development.”

Jannes Fittje already knows the GT3 911 from previous starts in the ADAC GT Masters. In 2020, he finished runner-up in the Pirelli Junior competition for young drivers. “I am looking forward to the Lausitzring weekend with the Joos team. I have fond memories of the circuit: last year, I was the best-placed junior driver in one race and fourth in the other at the season-opener. I have also done well there in ADAC Formula 4. Despite starting for Joos, I remain a member of Küs Team Bernhard and will continue to support them with driver training courses and possible starts in the GTC Race.”
