Dresden-based team T3 Motorsport has unveiled the design and driver pairing for its first Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo. The Italian sports car will be driven in the ADAC GT Masters by youngsters Maximilian Paul and Hugo Sasse.
The young drivers form one of the youngest duos in the German GT Championship: Paul is 21 years old, while Sasse, a newcomer to the series, is the youngest driver in the field at just 16. Both are part of the youth programme at T3 Motorsport. While Paul is contesting his third season with the team from Saxony, ADAC Stiftung Sport driver Sasse steps up to GT3 racing. In 2020, Sasse drove for the team in ADAC GT4 Germany, in which he picked up several podium finishes.
“We are continuing our support of talented young drivers with Maximilian and Hugo. I am sure that they will catch the eye this season, and not just because of the spectacular look of the car,” said T3 team principal Jens Feucht. “We have developed a totally new and extraordinary design for our #71 Lamborghini. We are pleased that we have not only continued our cooperation with our partner Meyle, but actually expanded it.”
T3 Motorsport will field three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo in this season’s ADAC GT Masters for the first time. “We will receive the first cars in the next few days,” said Feucht, who revealed there is more news on its way in the coming days. “After Easter, we will announce our drivers for the second Lamborghini and for ADAC GT4 Germany.”
