T3 Motorsport is planning to run two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in next year’s ADAC GT Masters. The team from Saxony will also start again in ADAC GT4 Germany.
T3 Motorsport is back for more in the 2022 ADAC GT masters, and is looking to expand its programme next year. The Dresden-based team is doubling its contingent and plans to run two Lamborghini Huracán GT3. T3 Motorsport has been competing in the ADAC GT Masters since the team was formed in 2019, initially with Audi and Bentley, then with Lamborghini since this season.
Maximilian Paul has already been confirmed as the driver of one of the two Huracán GT3. Paul has been driving for T3 since the team was formed and will share the cockpit in his fourth season of ADAC GT Masters with a Lamborghini works driver. He can already count on the support of a works driver this season. Last time out, at the Sachsenring, the Lamborghini team was strengthened by works driver Marco Mapelli and the Italian will share the cockpit with Paul again in Hockenheim and at the finale at the Nürburgring.
Mapelli’s first appearance with the team was a promising one at the Sachsenring. In the Saturday race, Paul made it onto the podium in the Pirelli Junior competition for the first time. In qualifying for Sunday’s race, Mapelli secured a spot on the second row of the grid for the T3 Huracán.
As well as the ADAC GT Masters, T3 Motorsport will continue to compete in ADAC GT4 Germany, in which the team runs two Audi R8 LMS GT4 this year.
