Comeback: proud to be back in the ADAC GT Masters

The Mercedes-AMG Team ZVO will be receiving some top-level support this weekend. Mercedes-AMG Performance driver Luca Stolz (27/Brachenbach) will be competing for the team from Mendig at the fourth event in the ADAC GT Masters. He will be racing in place of his works team-mate Daniel Juncadella (31/E), who is appearing in an IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship event in the USA. Together with Jan Marschalkowski (19/Inning am Ammersee), Stolz will tackle both races in the #8 car.

The 27-year-old is already familiar with the German GT Championship, having completed numerous races in the ADAC GT Masters. In the 2020 and 2021 seasons, he finished third in the championship with Maro Engel (36/Monte Carlo), who is also making his comeback this weekend.

Philipp Zakowski, ZVO Racing team principal: “Luca Stolz certainly needs no introduction. Everyone is aware of his skills in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and his outstanding talent. He will be the ideal substitute for Dani, who we hope will enjoy great success in his IMSA race. We are delighted to have such successful drivers in our team as part of our partnership with Mercedes-AMG and BWT.”

The Drago Racing Team ZVO will be competing with an unchanged driver line-up. Jules Gounon (27/F), fresh from winning the 24 Hours of Spa, and Fabian Schiller (25/Troisdorf) will be driving the #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

All ADAC GT Masters races start at 13:00. International viewers can watch the qualifying and the races live on adac.de/motorsport, the new ADAC Motorsports YouTube channel youtube.com/ADACMotorsports and motorsport.tv.
